Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we receive the details you enter:

• required: full name, company or organisation, work email, type of institution, topic and your message;
• optional: your role, phone number and preferred language;
• the language version of the page you used, and the confirmation that you have read this notice.

Why we use it

We use the details you send only to read and answer your enquiry and, if you wish, to take the steps that come before a possible engagement (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your details for marketing, newsletters or advertising, and we do not sell or rent them to anyone.

Who processes it for us

• Netlify, Inc. (United States): hosting of this website and processing of the contact form, as our data processor.
• Our business email provider: receiving and answering your enquiry, as our data processor.
• The partners of the firm, who read and answer enquiries.

Technical security and spam-prevention measures, such as a hidden field that filters automated messages, run inside the form itself and send no data to anyone else.

Transfers outside the European Union

Netlify is based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the safeguards provided in Netlify’s data processing agreement, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any professional relationship that follows, and then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time for access to your data, its correction or deletion, the restriction of its processing or a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to info.arnorisk@gmail.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
